Articulation Agreements
Earning College Credits
Many Upper Cape Tech graduates choose to continue their education at the post-secondary level. The UCT faculty members work with faculty members at various institutions of higher education to create and maintain formal agreements that award college credit to UCT graduates upon enrollment at the respective college or technical school. Students should discuss opportunities with their technical instructors and their school counselor. Specific questions about the agreements or obtaining the credit after graduation should be directed to Mrs. Alvernaz.

Statewide Articulations
Through a statewide articulation task force, multiple agreements have been established across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. This collaboration allows for Chapter 74 (vocational/technical) students to enroll at any community college and receive college credits for work completed at the high school level. This supports a seamless transition for students who wish to continue studying in their field at the college level. The following UCT programs have statewide articulation agreements:

Colleges with Formal Agreements
A number of other institutions maintain their own agreements with Upper Cape Tech. Each institution may set their own requirements for receiving articulated credit, such as a minimum grade in the technical program or a minimum overall high school GPA. Counselors and technical instructors inform students of opportunities and requirements.
